Our Projects
MILĀMĀL supports projects thanks to the donations of those who believe in concrete and responsible solidarity. Our goal is not to raise funds in the traditional sense, but to guide people toward autonomy by supporting initiatives that can create jobs, skills, and stable sources of income. We believe that dignity comes from the ability to build one’s own future. For this reason, whenever possible, we also promote a giving-back principle: those who achieve greater stability choose to return a portion of what they have received, helping to support new projects and enabling others to follow the same path.

MILĀMĀL promotes complete transparency in the management of donations. We regularly update the community on the projects we support and how the funds are used. The association is officially registered with the Italian Revenue Agency has the Tax Identification Number (TIN, which ensures its legal recognition and compliance with Italian lawand operates in full compliance with current regulations.

At the same time, we continue to accompany the very families from whom the idea of the association was born, so that they can live with dignity, face emergencies, and have access to the essential goods needed for everyday life.We have been speaking with these families every day for more than a year: we have lived through the worst moments of the war together with them. They are real people whom we know well and whose situations we have verified.On this page you can get to know our dear friends and, if you wish, donate directly to their personal campaigns (which are always managed by us). Āmāl 🌸
Āmāl’s family is not only the story told in the small book produced by the MilĀmāl Association: it is a real relationship, built over time through encounters, listening, and mutual trust.Āmāl is growing up in a deeply united family, where the love between parents and children is a daily source of strength. Despite the difficulties life has placed along their path, her parents continue to hold, with great dignity, the desire to offer their children security, serenity, and possibilities for the future. Theirs is a family that endures, that protects, that dreams.Over time, a genuine bond has grown between Āmāl’s family and the MILĀMĀL community. It is a relationship built on trust, respect, and shared responsibility. This is not distant or anonymous support: it is a human connection that grows day by day, where every act of solidarity becomes a concrete sign of closeness.It is precisely from this bond that the book written by Āmāl was born. With simple yet profound words, Āmāl chose to share her story and her view of the world. The text has been translated thanks to the generous commitment of several volunteers who worked on translating and revising the different editions, allowing the story to reach readers in multiple languages.Today the book is available online in digital format on the Gumroad platform, so that anyone, from anywhere in the world, can read it and support this project. In Italy we have also been able to produce a printed edition, available with shipping throughout the country.Those who choose to support Āmāl are not helping an abstract story, but a real family, with faces, relationships, and hopes. Mohammed, Mayar,
Manal e Mila 👨🏻👩🏻👧🏻👧🏻
Mohammed is 27 years old and a young father from Gaza. He studied design and video editing, and his dream was to build a simple and dignified life for his family.Today he lives with his wife Mayar and their two daughters: Manal, who is one year old, and little Mila, born on March 8. During the conflict Mohammed also faced devastating losses: he lost his mother and one of his brothers, and today he also takes care of his elderly father, who has been deeply affected by the war.Despite everything, Mohammed continues every day to protect his family with great strength, responsibility, and love.The connection between Mohammed and Laura, the founder of MILĀMĀL, has now lasted for more than a year. Over time, a relationship of deep trust has grown, built through daily communication, updates, and the sharing of the family’s life. This direct connection allows the association to follow their needs closely and to ensure transparency in the support they receive.Those who support this family help concretely provide essential goods such as food, medicine, and everything needed to raise two little girls with dignity and safety.Supporting Mohammed’s family means standing alongside real people—known, trusted, and followed over time—who face their reality every day with extraordinary resilience and love. 🤍

Fadja, Rimas e Mirna 👩🏻👧🏻👧🏻
Rimas’s family came into contact with the founders of MILĀMĀL through their connection with Mayar, Rimas’s older sister and the wife of Mohammed. Over time we also came to know their mother, Fadja, and their younger sister, Mirna, building with them a direct relationship based on listening, regular updates, and mutual trust. As with all the families we accompany, our support grows from a real human relationship, nurtured day by day.Rimas is 15 years old and a girl deeply loved by her family. She lives with a complex health condition that requires continuous care and constant daily attention. Since childhood she has faced several medical challenges and needs ongoing monitoring, specific medications, and certain medical devices and supplies that are essential for her everyday life.We have been able to review the medical documentation related to her clinical condition, and Rimas is currently on a waiting list for a medical evacuation that would allow her to access care better suited to her needs. In the meantime, her family continues to care for her with great dedication, doing everything possible to ensure she has what she needs to feel as well as possible.At Rimas’s side are always her mother, Fadja, who looks after her with tireless love and attention, and her younger sister Mirna, to whom she is very close. Ramadan 👨🏻👩🏻👦🏻👦🏻
Ramadan and Rowan are a young family with whom MILĀMĀL has built, over time, a direct relationship based on trust, dialogue, and constant presence. As with all the families we support, our bond comes from daily connection: we speak with them every day, follow their situation closely, check regularly on their conditions, and share updates about their lives and their needs.Ramadan is a father deeply devoted to his family, a kind and determined person who has always worked to provide stability and serenity for his children. Beside him is Rowan, a caring and strong mother who looks after the family every day with great dedication.Their lives have been marked by very painful events: they lost their daughter Jurieh due to the bombings, and little Mohammad suffered serious injuries to his legs that require complex medical care. Despite everything, Ramadan and Rowan continue to show great strength and deep love for their children, facing each day with dignity and determination.At the end of last February, the family also welcomed a new baby, a birth that brought a moment of light and hope during a very difficult time. For Ramadan and Rowan, caring for their children and protecting them remains the most important thing.Supporting Ramadan’s family means standing beside a young family that continues to stay united and look forward despite the hardships. Dhuha, Yahya, Ezzedine e Saja 📚
Through our daily relationship with Mohammed, we have also come to know his brothers and sisters: a young and very close-knit family with whom, over time, we have built a human bond based on trust, dialogue, and mutual presence. As with all the families we support, these are not occasional contacts: we speak with them often, sharing updates, concerns, but also hopes and small moments of normality.Today four of Mohammed’s siblings — Dhuha, Yahya, Ezzedine, and Saja — live together and try to support one another through the challenges of everyday life. Yahya, the eldest among them, has always carried a strong sense of responsibility toward the family. Dhuha is a sensitive young woman who is very close to her brothers. Ezzedine carries with him the deep memory of the affection of their mother, who always protected and encouraged him in everything he did.Among them is Saja, the youngest. She is a curious girl, passionate about reading and very dedicated to her studies. Despite the difficulties she has experienced, she continues to commit herself to school with great seriousness: she is a brilliant student with excellent results and a particular passion for English. Her dream is to continue her studies and one day study medicine in order to help the people of her community, following the example of her mother, who had chosen to dedicate her life to caring for others.For this reason, we are also considering the creation of a small project dedicated to supporting her education, so that she can continue her academic path with greater stability and continuity.Supporting these young people means standing alongside a group of siblings who, despite everything, continue to remain united, to care for one another, and to look toward the future with dignity and determination. Wisam and his family 👨🏻👩🏻👧🏻👧🏻
Wisam is one of the people with whom MILĀMĀL has built, over time, a sincere and daily relationship of trust. He is a deeply dignified person, always kind and respectful in his relationships with others. He is not someone who easily asks for help: like many others, he has always tried first and foremost to take care of his family with responsibility and courage, even in extremely difficult circumstances.Today Wisam lives with his extended family, made up of 24 people including parents, brothers, sisters, and children. After their home was destroyed during the war, the family has remained together and continues to support one another. The strength of this family lies precisely in their ability to stay united and care for each other, even in the most challenging situations.Among them is also Adam, the baby who was born at the end of last winter. His birth was welcomed with great joy by the whole family. After the difficult moments his parents had endured, Adam’s arrival represented a moment of light and hope for everyone.Every day Wisam does everything he can to help his family face their daily needs: from food to medicine for his father, to the simplest but essential things for the children, such as clothes, blankets, and basic necessities.As with all the families we accompany, our relationship with Wisam is not occasional: we remain in contact with him, receive updates, and follow the situation of his family closely.
